Returns and Exchanges
For over ten years, Kathy Vaneps has been known for
high quality craftsmanship and excellent customer
service.  Before she joined with her daughter Tammy
VanEps to form Northern Night Lights, Kathy did
hundreds of successful craft shows and sales, all with
high levels of customer satisfaction.  We feel
confident that you will be pleased with your product
and the service that you receive.
Returns, exchanges, and allowances:
  • If you are not completely satisfied, you may return or
    exchange any item with the exception of special order
    items, sale items, custom, or damaged items, with no
    questions asked within 15 days of receipt.
  • Returns MUST be received within 30 days of the
    original ship date.  Late or ineligible items will NOT
    be returned to you unless you request it within 7 days
    of our receiving the package and new shipping
    charges will apply.
  • If you should have a problem with an item which was
    not caused by misuse or normal wear and tear, we
    will gladly replace it for a period of 6 months from
    date of purchase.
Returns:
We will accept postage paid returns only after Return
Merchandise Authorisation (RMA) number has been
obtained.  Please
email us for a RMA number.
  • Returns MUST be received within 30 days or NO
    credit will be given.
  • An RMA is required on ALL returns.  Late or
    ineligible items will NOT be returned to you unless
    you request it within 7 days of our receiving the
    package and new shipping charges will apply.
  • Returns items must be mailed back with a copy of the
    original sales receipt and must be carefully packed in a
    return BOX, NOT a padded envelope.
  • Shipping charges are non refundable and we DO NOT
    pay for return shipping costs.
  • Credit can not be given for special order items, sale
    items, custom, or damaged items.
  • We photograph all improperly packaged returns.
  • We are not responsible for weather caused delays in
    the arrival of your package AND do not give credit for
    shipping costs in such situations
Shortage of shipment claims and
allowances:
Shortage claims must be made within 5 days of receipt of
package.  All items listed on an invoice should be in the
box.  Back orders are not listed.
  • If you believe you have been shorted an item, please
    double check all packaging materials.  Please
    repackage ALL items in the box exactly as sent with
    the original packing materials, email us for a MRA
    number, then send the package back to us for
    inspection.
  • We will compare in ounces packaging material and
    shipping notes to determine if there was a shortage.
Items damaged in shipment:
We carefully package your items.  If damage does occur in
transit it is usually the responsibility of the transportation
company (in this case UPS).
  • we ship all of our items with UPS.  If you believe
    your item has been damaged during shipping, you
    must contact UPS to file a claim.  You must save
    ALL packing materials so the UPS representative can
    inspect the package and make a determination of
    responsibility.
  • If you believe the package was received damaged,
    you must return it to us for inspection first.  Please
    email us for a RMA number.  Pictures are
    appreciated in determining when your item was
    damaged (both of item and package).
  • Claims take about two weeks to process.
